Disconnect your batteries for 10 minutes, negative cables first, then positive. Turn your headlight switch on while your batteries are disconnected. Reconnect your batteries in the reverse order and go through the drive cycle--about 5 cold restarts and the PCM should have relearned by that time. Problems?
Thanks, I just got this truck and it has no low end power. It has the new egr and rebuilt turbo. I'm gonna clean the ebp sens and tube tonite. Any other suggestions?
How about some info on your truck, year, mileage, auto or stick, 2WD or 4WD, tire & wheel size, and any mods the truck has. With this info we will be able to better help you diagnose your problem.
It's a 2004 CC 4WD Auto. 167k miles No Mods. I unhooked the bat and the EGR valve and it made a big difference. Don't know what made the difference. My EBP tube wasn't clogged. It didn't have a CEL but could a stored code have affected performance? ( I left the VGT sensor unplugged Accidently and man it would hardly go!)
Go to User CP and add your truck info to your signature, this helps when you ask Q's about your Super Duty
Post your VIN in the OASIS thread at the top of this forum. You'll then know everything Ford has done to your truck including flashes, etc.
Have you changed the fuel filters yet?
I don't have a sig button to add my truck.
Thanks, i've done everthing that's been listed, EGR,Turbo recon,EBP clean,filters,etc.. I ran an oasis and they said all is updated. I'll try to add my truck to my sig. Thanks for the replies, The guys at dieselstop don't have time for rookies.
