Yeah - another NC'er... we're gonna rule here one day!

Wlecome - what part of NC are in? I'm just west of CLT in Stanley. Guiri is on the otherside in Monroe/Marshville area.

Yep - I kind of like the small town life. Our biggest traffic jam is when the train comes thru town and you're on the wrong side. It is kind of a small world when you know someone from the area; when most people ask where we live, I usually just say NW of Charlotte. Been living there for about 15 yrs now and I don;t see any need to move to the 'big' city.

It's funny - I commute 27 miles each to work in CLT, it takes about 35 minutes... yet there are people I work with that live int eh city limits of CLT that drive a shorter distance, but have longer travel time.

BTW, with my 54 mile round trip, back & forth to CLT, I usually avg 12.8 - 13.4 mpg. I typically drive 65 on I85 and the rest of the trip is 35-45 mph.

ahh yes, the train....been on the wrong side of that before albeit less than you I am sure. I am from SD, no one asks more than that...you say your from NC and they want to know what part...SD I guess has one part...My wife was born and raised in Denver NC...just as small...refers to it as outside Charlotte also.

The more I read on MPG, the more I am impressed with mine. Maybe the 3.73s and larger tires bring the rpms to perfect with the higher speeds I drive...You have 4.30s mark?

SD, uh... my kid sister was born in Rapid City... wow, it just keeps getting smaller - the world, that is.

No I have 3.73's and stock 265/75/16 tires.

greetings all, As for a k&n filter for the v10 usally caused my milage to go down but, when pulling it feels like you have more power by the seat of the pants. I run an 2wd V10 with stock everything and average around 12.5 combined hwy/city. On the I90 i usally can get 15mpg running at 67 mph all milage hand calculated. My lie-o-meter is off 1to 2mpg. When towing my TT 7000 lbs my milage goes down to 8mph no matter what speed i am running at, I do switch over to the K&N filter when towing the V10 seems to perform better with on ramp exceleration and hills.
