Smoke Coming From Engine?????
in my 300 6 i have smoke coming from the dipstick tube and the oil cap, also the oil has water in it????? i was told by a few people that this could be a cracked ring! what will i need to do? i dont want to have to rebuild my engine if i dont have to!

If smoke is coming out of those places it could be a plugged PCV valve or related hose. The PCV valve is located on the back of the valve cover on most 300s. The intake hose is usually located at the air filter and the valve meters vapors into the intake manifold. If any of those are plugged it will not allow the engine to ventilate blowby gasses. If the system is functioning your producing too much blowby (rings probably) or a blown head gasket. 300s usually rack up a ton of miles before blowby becomes an issue and its not prone to head gasket issues unless it overheated.
If the PCV system is at fault repair is usually cheap. Change the oil too.
Perform a compression test which will determine the condition of the rings.
