Mason Dixon Recyclers in Nottingham, PA. Always good prices (in my opinion) and they always have constant supply of 70-s and up Ford Trucks / Vans / Broncos / Explorers / Taurus, etc. They also buy scrap metal too
OK Baughmans in York is ok I have gotten things there.
RedLion Auto salvage
Gemmils in York
Agreeable Auto slavag in MountJoy
All the ones I listed I have used to get parts from. I just think the 73 79 Ford trucks are getting harder to find.
Yes, I was just there this morning getting some stuff for my Taurus and truck. They have 4 or 5 in the yard, 79 Trailer Special (I got the emblem today - it has a nice interior), I think there was a 73 because I was going to take the woodgrain door panels from it). There was a short bed 78 or 79 also. Lastly, I think there was 1 or two 75-77 there as well. They are open tomorrow, so if there is somthing you need, let me know and I'll go grab a pic for ya, it is literally 1 minute from my house.

No I wasn't looking for any thing really just trying to find a good place for truck parts.Do you have an address for there I want to mapquest it. Baughmans no longer deals in 73 to 79 truck stuff and lots of my other favorite yards are getting this way. The one I used to use all the time closed guy got old and decided to sale every thing to scrap and give the land to his son. I go about an hour to the one yard off 83 when I need stuff. I think your about an hours drrive for me as well. Thanks for the input. Mike
I had posted that in response to someone in another thread. After thinking about it for awhile, what a great idea for a get together. We could divide the state up and do junkyard raids. We have the members out in the Erie area, Pittsburgh area, Philadelphia area, etc., hook us up with decent yards in their region and those of us that are willing to get involved, whether your a local or coming from across state, get together and raid yards for parts for a members truck or your own. If you find something you need, or just wanted, cheap enough, it would offset the cost of fuel. I may even propose this for the entire Mid-Atlantic region. If enough of you guys come out to Carlisle, even for a day trip and let us know when you'll be there we could flesh it out and make it work. It could even evolve into regional mod parties where we could do over members trucks. Post up about it and let us know what you think, if you like the idea, start talking it up around the site to other Pa.'rs, or friends you know that are Fordies not on site yet. Heck for a scavenger hunt we may even tolerate Chevy and Dodge guys tagging along.
A junk yard scavenge sounds good to me sounds like a treasure hunt. I really just like to know where to get the best parts for my 77. But this sounds fun as hell.
The junkyard raid sounds like a fun ! Now, if anyone can get there hands on a set of maroon seatbelts for a 1985 reg cab bench seat, I'd be in your debt. Can find every other color, BUT maroon!
theres a place southwest of dover PA called the storage farm truck recyclers they buy and remove old, junk, unwanted trucks tear them down and put parts on the shelf since I found them I havent been to a junk yard everything is allready off and sitting on the shelf if you could see the amount of stuff they have you would wonder why the 2nd floor of the building hasnt colapsed yet (717)292-2594 only open in the evening and saturdays m-f 6-8pm and sat 9am-4pm
