differental junkyard shopping

i found a whole differental drum to drum, and he says it has been inspected and he said 90 day warranty for $600 is this a good deal? for a 99 f150 2WD

I'd say thats a little high. Around here I can get a complete axle and pull it myself for around $300 depending on what its out of. I have pulled 8.8 from later model Explorers complete from rotor to rotor with calipers, 4.10 ratio and a limited slip for $250 - $350 depending on who is behind the counter.

Is that price pulled or you pull it?

When I was shopping for an axle, I had quotes from the high 600's to the low 300's. Could've gotten less in farther away U-pull places, but it wasn't worth the time and gasoline.

that was the price pulled for me. I want the price range yall are in like the 300. that sounds good to me, and I will pull it myself. Do I have a 8.8? I have a 99 f150 2WD 4.6L V8

Where are you located? That has alot to do with the price.
