Has anybody ever tried to create a downward facing sub that would mount to fit exactly under the centre console for those of us with bucket seats? I sure wouldn't mind seeing that console 6" higher if I could get a custom downfiring sub mounted underneath it. I'm just thinking again... surprisingly enough this time it doesn't hurt so bad.

They already make one of these. I think it might be a JBL in a cosole like the stock one with just a 3" deep tray under the lid. The Sub fires down at the floor. I'll try and find a link to it, BUT it is expensive hence going the rear seat route.

I've got a ported Memphis 10" sub box behind my rear seat. Also two Rockford amps for the sub and other speakers. The amps are mounted on top of each other facing forward behind the passenger rear seat. Let's me keep the rear underseat rack.

Check out this system! 4 Kicker L7 8" Sola Barics. I have the same set up in my truck and Im looking to sell it, I dont have any pics of my speakers but if anyone is interested I can post some pics. I have 4 L5 8" subs instead of L7s
Im also selling the amp too a Kicker SX 1250 watt mono amp. Everything is in excellent shape. About 4 months old. Im selling so I can put two JL 12" W7s in, I will have to cut the cab for that though. These subs sound real good though. Im currently trying to sell them locally for $900.00 subs, box, and amp. I dont know how to post these pics so you will have to check out my gallery.

I currently have (6) 10 Alpine subs inside a custom hand made fiberglass enclosure (sealed). Needless to say all I had to do was shim the seats up about 1/2", and the rest is just magical.. I'm running (3) 1000 watt Alpine amps to power the subs and the components. I have an Alpine 205 DVD in dash and my ITouch loaded to the gills.. Needless to say, if someone would bring me my meals, I could live in this thing..
I like to FEEL my music, and this thing reaches out and grabs you!!!!!!!
After the box was made, we had it sprayed the same time my bed was being sprayed. The "krinkle coat" almost matches the texture of my interior trim and it's as durable as Hell.
And yes, I've still put 3 people in the back.
