First Gear slips, over drive shifts a bit rough. Tourque Convertor engages and disengages consistantly at certian speeds.
Someone told me today I should 1) Get the filter changed 2) He says theres adjustments that can be made, and that these old transmissions have power band adjusters.
He suggests taking it to a transmssion shop and having them look at it. Are there any chances of being able to fix this w/o removing it? Also, is it even possible to get a real answer from a shop? Usually they just say to rebuild it...
I changed the fluid several thousand miles ago. It looked like motor oil coming from the transmission. Not pretty.
