Squeaky valve train Part II
Well, I just replaced the rocker and fulcrum of the number five intake, the loudest squeaker, with a Clevite rocker kit and although the rocker stud nut was a differet diameter, the rocker and fulcrum were correct. I performed the work yesterday and so far there's no squeaking (fingers crossed) after cleaning up the old fulcrum and rocker I saw no abrasisions on the fulcrum, but, on the rocker there were three polished points of contact where the pushrod meets the rocker. This with the standard wear pattern on the valve end of the rocker seemed OK, what do you guys think?
