Lock / Unlock Confirmation

All

My 07 expedition sounds the horn and flashes the lights when I lock it with the keyfob but does nothing when I unlock, is this correct or can this be programmed to do the same thing on unlock. I know on previous expeditions this could be programmed.

When I unlock with the key pad on the door at least the lights come on

My 07 the lights come on when you unlock. I know you can set the delay time for the lights to go out when you lock but I don't know about the unlock.

this may be a BCM(body control module) setting that the dealer can do for you but it requires equipment they have and we would not spend money on.

Thats the problem is that my dealer is saying they don't think you can do it which sounds kid of crazy considering it chirps on lock but does absolutely nothing on unlock. mine is not a limited so don't know about how much I can set myself and how much needs to be programmed. I thought this would be standard programming options

Mine only honks on lock when I hit the button twice. Otherwise it just flashes the lights for lock and leaves them on for a few seconds on unlock.

Do you have an alarm installed?

I would think the BCM would be the same on all models BUT...BUT...I am getting quite an eye opener on what Ford does and does not per model and per year.

My 07 locks all doors first click lights flash then second click horn beeps lights flash.
First click unlock, just the drivers door. second click unlocks all doors, no beep at all, lights come on at night only when doing this.
