headlight issue with 79'
I have a 79 F150 that I am restoring. Just before I started restoring I had a problem with the headlights going on and off. I have replaced the high/low switch and even bypassed the light switch in the dash. Any thoughts as to where to go next cause I am putting it back together now almost ready for the paint.

Do the headlight relay upgrade while you have everything apart.

Ford ran everything through the headlight switch with circuit breaker protection.
Doing this caused the H/L switch and dimmer switch to fail.
The relay system is the way to go.
The headlights will also be brighter.
