Screws loose doesn't even start to cover it. A while back a buncha teenagers went on a little spree here in town with a .22 rifle and shot at some people and ended up killin one kid on his bike. He was only 16 years old, and cause these 18 and 19 year old punks decided it would be funny to shoot at people and scare them, his life was cut short. People just don't make sense sometimes. :-X23

"Mr. Shireman admitted that he did go to (Walker's house) armed with his .9 millimeter and bludgeoned her with the weapon," Thompson said. "He stated that he struck her in a manner so hard that the gun fell apart."

I would expect a ".9 millimeter" gun to fall apart!!

Back about 15-20 years ago, a local kid went berserk and killed his mother in their front room. He sat and waited for his dad to come home and shot him also. His dad didn't die and instead ran out into the fields trying to escape. He then hunted his dad down and killed him with a 30-06 to the chest at close range.
I knew this kid on a first name basis, he worked at a local gas station and always seemed as normal as could be. After this is when I decided to carry a weapon with me in the truck at all times.

You just never know.

I went to school with a kid years ago that killed his whole family(father, step-mother and 3 step-sisters). I was friends with him and had even been to his house a few times. I don't know what some people are thinking when they do these things Pretty sad.

Yeah, but keep in mind that they aren't going to be the toughest individuals in prison. Judging from the mugshots, looks like the local penn is about to recieve a fresh shipment of "sweet boys" . After what they're going to get when they hit the showers, I'd say they almost deserve to watch a little TV.

To tell you the truth I think they are exactly like you and me. I think people allow themselves (through whatever chain of events or poor descisions) to be in situations that they suddenly find unreal and unmanagable. While I am not excusing them or saying that they should be forgiven I still say "they" are you and I.

Take an unbiased, sincere, and honest look at yourself...what are you capable of?

I disagree. You are the master of your own fate or conversely, your own demise. I have no pity for someone that pistol whips an old woman, or any violent criminal for that matter.

I am not implying that you should forgive or forego punishment but certainly you should be compassionate in understanding that the transgressor is still human.

I support the death penalty, long prison sentences, and quick and decisive court proceedings. If you (for whatever reason) hurt someone you need to pay the price NO MATTER WHAT. Just don't be too quick to judge the person before the action.

The girl was a "A" student. She had won every spelling bee, literature contest, writing prized, you name it. It just goes to prove you never know what people are capable of.

I do not consider any person capable of pistol-whipping
an old woman to death even REMOTELY human. These maggots
PLANNED and EXECUTED a violent crime against an unarmed
elderly woman, with no more concern than a person would
show for stepping on an anthill. These evolutionary
dropouts KNEW what they were doing was wrong and they
did it anyway - and then went after her ex-husband. All
for money.

In my opinion, they should be shown exactly the same amount
of compassion, as they showed their victim - absolutely NONE.

Personally, I'd pay good money to be the guy who throws the
switch on these losers. I know that opinion isn't exactly PC
these days, but as far as I'm concerned that PC crap is for
the birds anyway. Burn their butts and make room in the
prisons for the Enron executives and other non-violent crooks.

So Unfortunate

A couple of years ago in my hometown some kids were arrested for animal abuse.Turns out the kids would ride around in their truck and pick up stray cats. Then they would take the cats to a lone bridge in the middle of nowwhere and set the cat on FIRE.And since we know that cats are afraid to get wet the kids would sit and watch to see if the cat would burn to death or jump in the water.

I feel these kids need to be castrated so they can't reproduce and contiminate our working society.
