So I got a nail in my tire Saturday and it can not be plug, will need to be replaced. And the place can’t do it till this up coming Friday, so I put my spare on and was really surprised with how much tread I have gone through already. Sooo... with that I am thinking that I will only get another 10-15,000 miles out of them anyway and looking to just change them all out to a good tire, currently have continentals, and am looking at the Goodyear wrangler silent armors. It would be the same size 255 70 17
Firestone Destination M/T - Awesome Mudder, not so loud on pavement
Bridgestone Revo A/T - Amazing good all around tire
Wrangler AT - Currently on the truck. 17k miles and they still look pretty darn new
Michelin LT M/S - Best tires I've ever owned...very expensive
BFG - ok, but there are better out there, but if the price is right...go for it.
the continentals are crap. The Silent Armors are still too new to get a good read on them.
