When I first started driving it sounded like a grinding when turning. I started driving and the grinding turned into a squeeking. I took the wheel off and look at everything (thinking it may have been a break problem). I started the truck up again and backed out the driveway. When i turned the wheel, it sounded like the wheel was going to fall off. It sounded like an even worse grinding, definatly metal on metal. Does this sound like a wheel bearing problem?
You may want to look at converting over to manual hubs if this is a failed unit bearing. I forget where but someone is having a special, send them your "Horror Story" and you might win free stuff. Warn maybe, anyone else see this promotion?
i actually already have manual hubs from warn. i had them put on about 3 months ago! I have barly used the truck since the work and it has not been off road since the new hubs...this is kinda why i am pissed?
