i was driving home one day and 2 girls were following me and called me and said to blow smoke at them... so i did like 5-6 times lol and then when i got home and pulled into my driveway (not in any of the 2 fast tunes anymore) the truck was idling really rough... i'm about to put the 2 videos i took up...
the first one is in the towing tune... normally it idles SMOOTH
the 2nd one is in the high idle tune...
the last one is in the 2nd highest tune... it normally idles a little high but still pretty smooth... once i hit the gas it cleared up...
remember this only happened once... i'm wondering if maybe there was too much fuel in the lines and since i kinda just dropped it into a lower tune and pulled into my driveway that might be why it was running rough... or maybe the fpr screen (is that what it's called?)
I'm not sure if our diesels are the same but gasser PCMs have a learing curve everytime you disconnect the battery. I'm thinking that switching the programs might be triggering the learnig it to re-learn and it's getting confused. OK confused is not the word I'm looking for. Adaptive stratagies.....that's more like it
that sounds the same as matts truck when the tw tunes turned up, and thats how it idled after a blast down the road then pulled in my driveway, sounds like air in the oil system as his sucks the 15* pump dry and the cel comes on.

well i've gunned it in the big tune from 15-80 with no cel but that could be a possibility... it happened again yesterday with my friend in the truck, i put it in the big tune and gunned it down my road (from 15-80 lol) and when i pulled into my driveway a couple seconds later it was idling rough again but fixed itself pretty quickly... and in the big tune it ALWAYS lopes but tony said that's to be expected
