Battery drains..
Got a problem with a 91' Bronco I bought not too long ago. The battery drains overnight, or basically over 10 hours. I can't figure it out so I've installed a battery switch in the grille untill I know what's wrong with it. No shorts, no lights stay on, ingnition shuts off and works properly. I tested the voltage draw between the battery and the ground, pulled all the fuses and relays inside the cab one by one and it always seemed to be drawing power. It went from 12.8 volts to like 11.7 in the hour time I was messing with it. Anyone have an idea?
Also, electronic 4WD seems to engage whenever it wants when I try to engage it. Like 1 out of 3 times pressing the button. And it also stayed engaged one time after I turned it off and the 4x4 light was out. Shut it off for a day and it was back into 2wd.
The above problem is more important though.
does it have problems starting ever. Since the fuses didn't work
did you try the fusible links. Pull them off and see if the draw stops. If you have a
bad cell in the battery it will drain the battery too!!
