i was driving to get my power steering fixed and on the way i heard a huge crunch and then a grinding/rattling from below. i broke my u joint connecting the rear driveshaft to the diff assembly. lucky for me i could still drive. only one pin bearing had broken and the other 3 were holding on. factory u joints dont have grease fittings so i could never grease them after mudding. i told the guy working on my power steering and he replaced both u joints on the rear shaft with new ones that had grease fittings. its wierd how they went out when i was going to get something else fixed instead of after i took it in.
