Hmmm, never heard of methanol in the tank before. I wonder what it can do to the injectors.

I believe that methanol is one of the ingredients in a lot of injector cleaning fluids. I've tried it in my V10 Excursion, and it seemed to make a difference in highway mileage, but I haven't been able to reproduce those benefits while driving in town. Roughly 1mpg on highway.

There's only a couple of places out here in San Diego that retail BIO-diesel. Needless to say that there is some price gouging going in this environmentally concious community. It is considerably higher and B100 is almost $2 more PER GALLON than ULSD! For now I'll stick with 8oz of Power Service Diesel Kleen every fill-up.
