ouch i just searched "Turbo Surge" and that doesnt sound to good. My WG line is still plugged in, but it sounds to me like to eliminate it i gotta get a bigger WW. Is this true? Can anyone explain to me what is really going on when the turbo surges?

The WW only comes in one size, and it's really just a stock wheel from an early 99. You can read here why most turbo's will surge if you nail the throttle from a dead stop.
I posted this in a thread from earlier this evening.
Long story short, drive pressure exceeds boost pressure and goes the wrong way in the system due to a number of reasons but in your case the turbine housing ratio and inability to exhaust the drive pressure. Something like that anyway. Brought on now cause you can really light it up now. Gene has me concerned about the unloaded lower RPM surge possibility with a tune and I have done a lot of reading today.
If I am off on any of this feel welcome to correct it, but I am not sure anyone is an expert on this based on my searching today. I try to anticipate it and work the throttle to avoid it. You will get a feel for it.
