Newbie needs basics:
Proud new owner of a 2000 F350 7.3 PSD 4x4 Dually. Reading this forum can get the blood pumping, but alot of it is just over my head. Hopefully this will be a short term problem. More immediately I did a basic diesel primer ( book or electronic ), a basic PSD primer, and ?????. Also the truck came with no manuals, any electronic ones, or do I have to buck up ford prices?
Any help getting started in the correct direction will be of help and appreciated.

P.S. I have this Aux engine control unit ( various buttons that say battery charge, PTO, RPM, ect ). What is it?

Spend a lot of time searching here or go to 7point3.com and look at what amiller has done for you. Most link right back here but will save a ton of time.
