Blue Smoke

I have noticed since the switch to ULSD that my 05 6.0l has been giving off blue smoke in the morning when it is started. It seems to be getting a little worse. I have 37,000 miles on the truck. Any ideas?

mine does the same thing, but has always done it, i think it might be impart due to a leaky injector

Blue smoke is oil, and can be from bad rings, valve guides, oil seal at the turbo. Most likely cause would be an oil leak at the turbo.

i always run an additive anyway just to be sure. but like hat says, sounds like you are burning a little oil.
