Mine will do the same thing if I turn it on then turn it off and start it again later. I just get a little smoke right at startup but it is not blueish gray. It is a white gray.

One of these things:

I've driven it about 25 miles since I put that on, and there are already a few drops in there...

It's fuel...

I would bet my hat that it only does it when the engine is cold, ran for seconds, and shut off... It's fuel (from the fuel enrichment program for cold starts) my '06 F150 & Mustang(s) do the exact same thing...

If the vehicle is started and driven away (the engine warms up) this is not an issue however, if I start one of them pull out of the garage for whatever reason shut it off and restart it later I get smoke and sometime lots of it...
My wife even asked what's wrong with her car when she witnessed it the first time.

I worry more about the fuel "washing down" the cylinder walls than I do the brief smoke signal... I have gotten into the habit of allowing the vehicle to run for a few minutes to prevent this if I just have to move one a short distance.

I wouldn't care if it hurts it or not, if I wanted smoke coming out of a vehicle I would buy a tractor!! Never wait "and see", these companies will then try and blame you for what ever they can. Like previously said it might not be a big deal, but I wouldn't keep it!! I have read about a "buy back" thing with ford, check into that! Also just my .02.

Does yours blow "Blue" smoke? Or is it "Black" smoke from too much fuel? I have always known of oil to produce blue smoke, and fuel to produce black smoke. Also, which engine does your F150 have in it?
Thanks for the input.
