I dont know if rpm moved but no ses light. no modes 01 4x4 crew cab f250
What happend was I was driving on 610 in traffic going about 45mph and the truck just shut off no warning nothing. So I breaked and pulled it over to the shoulder. I tried to start it again and nothing the check engin light was on. So I let it sit in hopes that it would start. I waited for about 30min and it started right up no check engine light nothing.. Then down the road it did it again. I put it in N to start it back up and nothing. The lights and radio were working fine. Then it turned over but when I pressed on the gas and it died again... So I kept doing it until it started. I cant be late to work again Please Help!
Yep, CPS, classic symptoms. Dealer has them for around 27.00, Buy 2 and keep one in the glove box. OH and also keep a 10 mm closed wrench to change it out.
I was checking around to see what else it could be and some handy advice came my way!
If it is not the CPS then its the Relays. There are three of them 1) PCM Power Relay 2) Blower Motor Relay 3) Injector driver Module Power Relay.
I dont know where they are located on the vehicle but Im sure one of these nice gentlmans on here could help us out! LoVe Ya BaBe
Sounds like a cps, i also had a problem with my ipr that gave me sim. traits. The nut that holds the spacer that in turn holds the ipr together worked its way off. it would die sometimes hard start the others. If you change you cps and still no good look in the valley of your engine and see if there are some parts sitting in there that maybe should not be.
