so are you saying that you would go with the mad dog?
I don't have any experience with the mad dog headers. If you have the L&L's re-coated with something durable, that they will indeed last forever. If you don't take care of them, they will begin to rust. I live in CA, and mine began to surface rust, they were always reasonably clean. They are heavy, beefy and they never warped on me.
No. If it were a show truck, and I cared about how the headers looked, I would. Instead I blew the motor up again for the 4th time and retired it to the side yard.
