2004 F350 Psd???

Did the 2004 PSD have issues or had ford fixed most problems by 2004. I am looking at one and will get the VIN and post it as soon as I can.

Thanks for any NFO in regards to the 2004 PSD 6.0

There is a split in the production date on the 04's at 9/29/03 where they went to the 04.5 motor with the ICP sensor on the passenger side valve cover. I'd try to go above that if I could. My 04 has 103K on it and for what it's been through it's been a doggone good vehicle.

Interesting... The information I have shows a 11/03/03 date for the first day of SD production with the updated '04 motor.

Nope--all the parts splits are 9/29/03 I believe. My truck is a 10/03 build and I have the 4.5 motor

I bought my 2004 F250 new Dec.03. What a nightmare for the first 4 months.
Two ECMs and a wiring harness later, shes ran great!!! Just had to be patient.
Just a side note, the F250 fifth wheel towing limited to 10400lbs so be aware.
Good luck.
