I bought a 2003 ranger 4.0 4x4 it had no owners manual with it . Is there a drain plug in the torque converter, like in my buddy's F-150 or do I have 2 choices . Drop the pan and just change that or take it to a shop and have it flushed.
You could also shop around. You may be able to get it done fairly cheaply. I changed my own trans fluid, but it was a lot of hassle(easier next time due to experience, but still a hassle)
You should also check out 'search' option on this site. You can search 'transmission flush' (or whatever) and get all sorts of great results from the past. It can be quicker than posting and waition, also.
