I posted this question in another area on this site but I would like to post it here and see if I can get a different point of view. What would happen if i put in non-synthetic axle lube into the rear axle of my truck. If it calls for synthetic lube will non-synthetic lube ruin it?
i am not sure what it would do...but i would not recommend it.
the synthetic oil for the rear end is not that much money..and is worth the piece of mind in my honest opinion....while your in there it would not hurt to add a tube of Friction Modifier either.....squeeze it in the carrier....add your oil and your good to go.
