Hey Saaawx fans...gotta love it...heading west up 2-0!!! Last nights' game was special...great pitching on both sides...timely hitting by the Saawx. Really enjoyed the Saawx showing off their newly found (this year) team speed...Lowell going first to third on Drews' single to right...and then Papi scoring from second on a ball hit to left!!! Speed kills...ask the Rockies!!! 
Great showing by the bullpen...Okie coming in to face a right hander...and then pitching into the eighth...not bad for the one inning specialist. Papelbon...well what can you say about him???

Yup, quite a game.
And if Mills isn't partaking in some of that Red Sox 2nd highest salary stuff, he should be! That's some real heads up baseball. Can't think of a better example of one quick move demoralizing the opposition...

I was thinking last night - hopefully Ortiz doesn't have to try to score from second in Denver. He'll need oxygen when he gets home. And then he'll have to go out in the field.....

I think you'll see Papi, Lowell, and Youk will all sit out one game in Denver. Papi will possibly miss two...depending on how the knees hold up. I read a report that they were swelling up when he was taking infield practice in Fenway. More than one wag on WEEI was suggesting that Lugo should be benched and Lowell should move to shortstop...can you imagine that???

ya i wouldnt mind either.
as for pappis knees, hes has torn cartilage in his knee.
ive had three orthroscopic surgies for torn cartilage in the last 2 years, and am awaiting major surgery after the holidays on my knee.
ive played on beer league softball teams with torn cartilage, my knee filled up with fluid and fluid into my lower thigh, it only hurts when the loose cartilage gets stuck in between the joints. plus you cant squate like a catcher, hurts as well
i know pappi will be looking forward to the offseason for his surgery and some rest.

Hey Saawx fans...where are you?? Taking naps so you can stay up late and watch the game tonight?? I'm going to take my nap after work...and after Cujo gets her walk...that way I may be able to stay awake past the sixth inning!!!
