Has anyone hooked up a programmer or done anything to they're 6.4 yet? I've been waiting for Banks to come out with they're new products but no such luck. Anyone have an opinion on Bullydog or any of the other programmer companies? Thanks, Sam.
SCT LiveWire is #1 for the 6.4. Got one for my 6-speed and this thing gets now. You don't have to install any gauges, there is an optional EGT sensor that they reccomend you install if you run the 120hp race tune, but I haven't installed my EGT yet and mine runs fine. The LiveWire is it's own gauge cluster, giving you all kinds of information to view, even regeneration status and DPF pressure. Slight increase in MPG, I went from 17.5 to 18. Not much, but that's running the 80 hp tune all the time.
Go with SCT, it makes my dually smoke all 4 rear tires.
Chilli, did you ever put an exhaust on yours? It took my Magnaflow about 2000 miles and obviously alot of regens but it's changed alot. Still nothing like my 6.0 with a turbo back 4" but I'll take what I can get.
If they have DPF delete tunes, you might as well delete the DPF. Anybody besides KEM have a pipe to delete the DPF??
That's kind of the point. Both are required to make the truck run properly without the DPF. It would be useless to release a DPF delete pipe when a tune isn't available to make it work. Most companys will be selling the set-ups as packages. I've been told that SCT is working with MBRP so they can sell it as a combo.<o =""></o><o =""></o>
Innovative Diesel is testing their DPF delete tune right now, and they will be offering various diameter delete pipes including 4" to go with the stock 4" down pipe on these rigs.
