Tease it with a few mice, see if it will come out on its own. =)

Heat, lots of it. The clamp dents both pipes and holds them together. Then pry it off if you are trying to save the cat (recommended). OR beat the crap out of it (not recommended).

I've tried for a month. First the studs were rusty, then I had to grind the clamp of and now the cat won't come out of the tail pipe.

Use a grinder to make some slots? in the pipe and than with a big hammer (I think you say: BFH, LOL), and you are done.

dang it farm! i was gonna say sawzall. but the slots work good too and you can spread the pipe with a chisel after the slits are made then if for whatever reason you did want to reuse the kitty you could just tac the slots up with your mig

I removed mine awile back tryed everything heat, cutting slots with a die grinder air chisel no go. Just take a sawzall cut it off just behind the joint where the cat goes, then get yourself some flex pipe and two easyseal clamps and your done.
