Well as of last night we moved back into our neighborhood. The place was coated in ash and soot but other then that pretty good. I will post more tomorrow after I get a full night sleep and show up at work.

Here in Hemet, were dealing with the thick smoke. Hemet is located in what appears to be a bowl with surrounding hills and mountains so the smoke is hovering over us making it difficult to breathe. It's time's like this we need some "friendly" wind but not to the extent of re-igniting fires. we are all going to suffer some long term problems, but will make it.
I work in transportation so clearing the roadways is our priority. We've been moving sand in areas as deep as five feet. Cutting up trees and repairing road signs. So while we did'nt get the fires directly, the wind has caused a lot of damage.
