heater core replacement
i was wondering how hard it is to replace a heater core in these trucks do you have to take the whole dash apart? i can get the core for under $25 so it would be more than worth it if it's easy enough

It's fairly easy. Lets see if I remember everything. Remove heater hoses at the firewall and remove any sealer around heater core tubes. Remove the glovebox. Disconnect vacuum lines under glovebox and move out of the way. Place towel on the passenger side floor to catch any spiled coolant. Unscrew heater box, seperate and remove half. Pull out heater core. Install in reverse order. Hope this helps.
