I would only use motorcraft on theses engines and maybe autolites. Alot of people have had trouble with plugs other than motorcraft, once they put the plug in, it would start missing. I got my motorcraft plugs at autozone for $2-3 each, but Im not real certain on the price.

Motorcraft or AutoLites unless you know what you're doing or you like changing plugs.

Stick with Motorcraft or Autolite. If you use any other plugs you are going to have problems.

I used the Bosch plugs for about 30k miles then changed them b/c they looked like they had 90k on them, the electrodes were nice & white & pitted. Put some motocrafts back in it and still running great 214k miles.

They seem to cause misfires and don't last long in these engines. I'll never use them in any engine again myself.

I would buy a Bosch dishwasher, router, circular saw, but no sparkplugs.
The guy at Checkers tried to sell some to me, but I a listing for Autolites on the display screen. I like the Autolites, but I will use Motorcraft next time.

Good choice, Motorcraft or Autolite is the way to go.

I've tried the Bosch in the past and I've found Ford's don't like them. Chevy's don't like them. I had them in my Volvo and it ran OK but when it stopped running 10,000 miles later and I had it towed in they said it was the spark plugs so I guess Volvo's run OK for awhile on them. I used them all the time in my Subaru and the car always ran great. I stay away from them now in all my vehicles.

I like to think of cheap add on performance gimicks as... if it works so good and is so simple to do why wouldn't the manufacturer do this at the factory?
For the majority of the crap on our trucks its better of how it came.

Motorcraft and Autolites are one in the same. Federal Mogul makes them both! NO BOSCH PLUGS IN FORD VEHICLES!
