Pivot Bushing Procedure-help.

1988 F150 xlt Lariat 4X4

OK, I got the radius arm bushings done,-
Now I have to get these Pivot Bushings replaced,-Question....

If I pull the bolt out of the pivot bushing can I expect the control arm to drop?
Should I have the truck jacked?-I did the radius arm bushings without jacking it,or removing the tires and things worked out fine.
But, I'm a little suspicious about the Pivot bushings-what can I expect??
Anyone with some experience on these help me out??

I put a jack under the bolt for the radius arms, and jacked it up there. I didn't have much trouble, I think I put my truck on jack stands (I'm too big) and to get some tension off the springs.
