Missing and slight throttle
Hey ya'll well i have a question and just some things to be looking at..
ok 84 300 stock...
since it's been getting cold the engine has been missing at partial throttle I get on it it's fine..but I do noticed I have to push harder to get it to go...
plus i've though that possibly the choke is to blame.I do know that it does not open up all the way...and what I'm thinking when I got to more throttle the air sucking in is moving the choke plate open. Now I could be wrong
I've checked the mixture and leaned it out a bit..and that did seem to bring intensity down...but it even letting it warm up it does it
What other things should I be looking at. also if there's mor info ya need just let me know.

General info on my truck. 84 f150 the 300 (of course) srod 2.47 gears

If anything, richen the mixture up, don't lean it.
check the accelerator pump and set the choke
my choke never really worked right so I just wired it straight up and never used it. Gotta keep patting the pedal to keep it running, but once you get out on open road, its fine.
why not rebuild the carb? doesn't cost much and is easy.
