ATS Compresser

Has any one changed there compresser housing to a ATS? They sell one for 474 dollars. Any thought's one this one. thank's

Yup. Personally, I think it's the best cure for surge. Much better than a WW, but also more expensive. Try checking with some of our site sponsors...I'm pretty sure you can get them for less than that. IIRC, mine was right at $400 a couple of years ago.

I put one on my truck about 6 months ago. Totally stopped the surge in the compressor. With cruise control on, and the DP chip in 60 tow, I was looking at 29-30lbs of boost, this past weekend pulling the trailer. EGT's got hot going up some of the bigger hills, but nothing over 1300 degrees. I paid around $400 for it, and got a overboost anhialator at the same time from ITP Diesel.

Hey guy's thank's for the info and input on this it does not look to hard to install either. It should compliment my 6.0 Spearco intercooler, i think i will get one. Thank's again guy's

I installed one over the summer and all surge is gone at all boost levels. The ATS works great.

There not hard to do, just time consuming & a bit frustrateing at times (@#$% clip on the waste gate rod). I think I spent about 3hrs doing mine & that includes haveing to weld the waste gate actuator rod back together.
