OD button not working

I have a 99 F250 with the 7.3l psd and the button on the gear shifter to turn off the OD is not woing anything. fuse mabie? or somthing else? thanks

Take the plastic cover off of the steering column. Inspect the wires where they enter the shifter handle. One or both are broken. Either repair the wires or replace the shifter handle for about $50.

you were right on. I just went to radio shack and got some 24 guage wire and pulled all new wires and now it works great thanks for your help.
