In the market for a 1996 body style f150 short wide bed, with a 351, undecided auto or standard tranny with a 3.55 rear end. undecided between 2 and 4wd also. And I was curious as to how much hp/torque they had from the factory?Any help is appreciated

4wd always there when you need it a bit extra weight and more components.
2wd with a winch, block and tackle, a selectable locker and the right gearing and tires can do just about anything a 4x4 can for cheaper in the long run!! Get a cooler and trans temp gauge and an auto can live a long life with proper fluid change outs.
