Oil Cooler Question
I have my engine pretty well stripped down to the block for clean up and some much needed service work. I am now at a point where the factory oil cooler is never going to be any easier to get at so I'm wondering if I should add it to the list of service work. Here's a couple questions.
Is there an O-Ring kit that I can buy and install? Is there more than O-Rings that I should do to it?
Is it a farily straight forward clean up and reassembly or did International have a winning entry in a most difficult to work on contest?
Thanks in advance.
mine was really hard to get the headers off the cooller tube the outer o ring was hard and brittle but i got it apart by twisting and pulling(two people) apart untill i could get at the outer o ring then i had to pick the o ring out piece at a time.
new o rings little grease slid back together real easy
