fe 428 tunnel ram

does anyone know if their is a dual quad tunnel ram available for a 428 or have a used one available

search with retsin, two mints in one.

Do yourself a favor and punch in FE 428 tunnel ram into google and read what comes up.

Get your wallet out...waaay out. If you're lucky to find one of these, be prepared to spend major dollars.

C7OE-9424-B .. Tunnel Port-Over and Under 8V-Wide Output marked: C7OE-9425-B (406/427/428)

C8AX-9424-B .. Tunnel Port (390/406/427/428)

The C7OE-9425-A and B are tunnelports and you'll need tunnelport heads. With the wider valve spacing and larger 2.25 and 1.75 valves you'll be hard pressed to fit them on a 428 bore.

The C8AX is a tunnelwedge and will fit on a 428. It has med riser size ports. This and the tunnelport will fit under hood of most cars. Dove does make and sell a copy of these.

But I think your looking for a tunnelram that sticks out of your hood?? Those were made by Dove (who still might make them) and by PSE who are no longer around. But you can find them used by word of mouth, WTB ads and ebay. They run $750 and up depending on condition.

And just some food for thought.....When running a T-Ram....you have to watch valve size, cam size and duration, and your timing...Really more so if your running and automatic behind it.....you'll also need a decent stall converter...

But if your running a 4 Spud....a 1200rpm Idle is easy depending on the cam size...JMO

And Russ still has a tunnelram pic in his gallery on a 428. I beleive it's a PSE.

I have a buddy that has a nice Dove T-Ram. He paid BIG money for. So be prepared for the $,$$$.$$ amount!

LOl G, its funny you would ask?? LOL... I missed a good one on the other site... There known in the racing industry as the John Holms T-Ram....If that tells you anything!! LOL.. I dont know how big the port are? I was afraid to ask...

It wasnt polished tho...lol... But there made by Trick Flow....and there Huge ! Anyway a guy had one up for sale for $750... But I dont think the ports would macth Kaase P-51 heads...lol..or even close !!

Wow the Holmes must be over 14".

Yea I thought you might be wanting one of those. I'd think Kaase makes one (or will be?) for his P51's?

Well I dont know how to post a pic in here after all these years....But "IF" someone knows how? Give me your email addy and I'll send you the TF T-Ram to post just for grins....and it will fit the A headed motor..... Just for you guys who also like the 460 based blocks...
