Fard- Are you also having trouble with your cruise control being intermittant? If so, you might check your Stop light switch down on the brake pedal. My 99 (V10) SD gave me fits with the ABS & cruise (intermittant) for two years before I figured it out. There are two sets of contactors inside the switch pack. The metal contacts had gotten hot enough to cause the plastic around the contactros to melt and my trailer brakes would not go off. after I replaced the switch the whole problem went away. Its been 3 years now!

My cruise seems to work just fine, but I will take a look at the switch, as i have tried also disconnecting the wires to the modulator as well with no effect. THX
