Well I finally got all ( or I guess its all ) of the one piece curved glass kit ( and I use the word kit loosely ) from Vintage Glass. I ordered it on June 30 and recieved final shipment today. Am I wrong to think this took a little too long???
I thought sence it was a "kit" that it would all come together with a list of what you should get. So much for that.
Anyway I am looking for someones gallery that I looked at that has very good pics of this install. The instructions I recieved with this "kit" are not good. I do understand how it works and can probably install using the instuctions given but as I remember the pics in this gallery are far more informative.
Thanks for any help you can give. And thanks for letting me rant over this.
I've been trying to warn as many as possible about the kits from Vintage Glass. Instructions are useless (for the 48-52 applications anyway), no pictures at all, and the glue-on fuzzies just do not work. I still have a couple of brackets left over from the kit and I still have no idea where they go. They were never listed in the instructions. The only good thing about the kit was the glass fits well. If anyone else is interesting in a one-piece glass kit go somewhere else...
Thank You
Sams gallery is what I was looking for.
Hey Sam, You could make money writing instuctions for these people.
thanks.. I do enjoy a clear set of instructions when I am trying to do something new. Probably my only real complaint about MidFifty is that they use a poor quality copy of minimum, or incomplete instructions..
(what good is a picture, if the image is all black?!).
I work in the computer software industry, and have SO much fun with people that do EXACTLY what the design says.. REGARDLESS of what the design says.
You can't be too careful!..
