bleeding hyd clutch

Can someone tell me the "proper" way to bleed a hyd clutch on a 96 350 4x4 diesel? The previous owner replaced the slave cyl setup and it hasn't worked since. I bought the truck, had a friend help me bleed the new setup (using the allen screw) and it got better but wouldn't depress the P Plate enuf to release.
I pulled the new slave and compaired it to the old one and rod is different. So I tried bench bleeding the old slave, made a make shift holder out of plastic to hold the rod depressed in the slave. Topped off the fluid in the slave and with a constant stream running out of the line put it back together. Seems to be the same as before, I don't think I got it bench bled well enuf. Any help would be appreciated!

Ok, now I'm stumped. I put the origonal slave back on and bled it out with the instructions from carolina clutch. Didn't help much, replaced the plastic bushing on the clutch rod and walla it worked. But I disengaged the PTO and it won't shift again. Engage the PTO and it won't shift. Don't know what caused it to work for a few mins.....
Other intersting item is the clutch master cyl can be rotated around, Don't really think it should...my other truck is tight. Could it be a bad master cyl?

If you can get a pushrod for an 85 F-250 clutch master cylinder they are adjustable which might help. I was having problems getting mine bled, I got it to move the fork as much as I could, but after a few turns of the adjustment nut on the rod, it worked perfectly.
