I had shoulder surgery not to long ago, Can't do things my self. So broke down went to ford to get oil change and trans. flush. On the way home at a light in town truck felt like it was missing, at around 1200rpms you can notice it more! Got home noticed oil plug leaking and oil filter not real bad. Went back to ford fixed the oil leaks, they said what they did had nothing to do with the missing. The mechanic said it did'nt miss before he worked on it!! they checked for codes none. they said bring it back monday, don't have the time today to check it out! They want to check the wires under the valve covers. Like I said I can't do much on my on!! Is there something they could have done when working on the truck to cause this! or something I can check on my on??? Just seems odd to have this problem right after they worked on it!!! I checked the codes at home got P0603 internal ctrl mod kam error ??? Need help!! please!! Don't like them trying to fix it, if they don't know were to start $$$$$ Sorry so long a post. just all upset!!
Kam error is most likely from the Superchips. Not to worry there. As for the miss, they should not have gotten near anything to mess it up. I would check the main harness plug on the driver side by the valve cover and make sure the wires have not rubbed through at the valve cover. Also check the UVC connectors at the covers. Don't know how it could have suddenly pooped inside the covers coincidentally with an oil change. Suppose it could happen but unlikely.
I did notice the wire going to the CPS looked like he got oil on it and wiped it clean. I know they worked at the trans. cooler or oil cooler up front, don't know way unless thats were they flush it from!! Also at idle when it runs rough the tack jumps up a little when you feel it miss or surge..

No I used wolfshead synthetic blend the last time. I went to ford this time cause I couldn't do it my self. I don't know what type of oil they use!!! After 1 to 2 min. you start to notice the stumble or miss!!
I'd start by checking the simple things first. Oil level full? Did they use the correct 15-40 oil? You could check the main engine wiring harness for chaffing against the valve cover or the bracket above the motor with only one arm. You might even be able to unplug the UVCH connector end outside the motor when it's running rough to see if it gets worse or stays the same, but I'm not sure you could tackle removing the valve covers if one arm is limited. The valve covers aren't the problem. It's all the junk they put in the way.
I wasn't going to blame it on the mixing but it seems the only thing that has changed is the oil. If the oil level is good, I might suggest that you start it (warm it up to full op temp) and run the rpms up to about 3000 for 5-10 seconds. Do this a few times and then see if there is any difference or if there are problems running it up there.
Oh, and this miss, does it do it in park as well or just while in gear?
Putting a list together to look at try in the morning. Need to try everything I can before I let them try to fix it $$$$$$$$$$$ Don't have much $$ at this time can't work till January!! Hope tomorrow turns out better than today!! Plus its hunting season!!
