Transmission Shift Trouble
I Have A 2001 Excursion With A Psd and an E4OD trany And It Started Not Shifting 1st To 2nd. Then When Finally In 2nd It Dropped To 1st Sending Me Into Windshield! Stopped Truck Then Started And It Was Fine For A While. Then Started Shifting Hard Then Normal Again. Its Parked Right Now Until I Figure It Out. Called Dealership Said It May Be Solinoid Shift Pack? Has Anyone Changed One Yet? Could This Be It?

You will want to post in the tech forums since this one is used for introductions. Click on the Forums tab at the upper left and scroll over the boards. There is one for the Excursion and another for the transmission. I haven't changed one but there are a lot of people here who have.
