I've been trying to post this... Surge Analysis, Turbonetics T61, GTP38R, & GT38 w/ 99.5 & Early 99 Wheels for several days, but my attachments feature stopped working. This is probably my most interesting effort so far, but it will be impossible to follow without the pics! Can someone please tell me how to recover my pic posting capability?
I see others who are able to post attachements easily enough. I'll try, too. If you see an attachment below, it worked. if not... I either forgot to actually try to make the attachment (so typical)... or it did not work.
Sorry... couldn't resist that one.
here it should be below VVVVVVV
EDIT: ooops... first time I did it again and forgot to go to Advanced to make the attachment.
one more try .....
Oh well... my "Upload" command is not working. Is that where you guys' efforts are failing, too?
I couldn't attach one, so I used my Ripway account. You can open one for free at http://www.ripway.com, upload your files and then just insert the link and you'll see the picture, thusly:
Pete: That is where my uploads fail on FTE...it just doesn't appear to upload after you select the file you want to upload.

I hope that's not his model he keeps referring to..
This is a test of my new ripway account to see what happens when I try to place 6 pics in a post. BTW, I stopped smoking cigars over 30 years ago and I never wore a bow tie, so that must be a pic of Neal taken when he was younger! Well, I'm doing what Neal said, and coping 6 links here and posting this to see what comes up on the FTE site?
Gene, is that one a pic of your ccv coupler? If so, and it has been a long while for me, but it looks like it is installed backwards, not that it would matter since you've done the CCV mod. Just wondering why you didn't pitch that thing aside, but I suppose that is used to install what looks like a TAG in there.

It's installed correctly, the scoop faces towards the incoming air flow to generate higher pressure to cancel some of the lower pressure produced by the Venturi, otherwise you'd suck all the oil out of the CC during high boost operation. I did my CCV mod in Asheville just after Smokin, and based on my CC measurements there I wanted to be prepared to pull into a rest stop and reconnect the hose from the doghouse to the OEM coupler if I saw unsafe CC pressure when towing a grade at near WOT.
Do you know how I can post pics from ripway like Neal said, I opened an account and I've tried 3 different ways, but none have worked.

Well, getting old sucks, memory goes. I know nothing about ripway. Why not just open a photobucket account or community webshots one. Dump your pics there and insert them using the url. I've been posting pics that way today.
Okay, you can post an image link -- you have to click the little button over the advanced text edit window with the mountains, yellow sky, and sun. Click that button, and paste the direct link of your pics there. That pic is actually on my own website. That's also how I get around the max text issue in the sigs. My "sig" is actually just two pics. One of the FTE logo, and the other a .gif capture of the text I wanted in my sig...
There is something wrong with the script in attachment popup window -- it seems to let you do it, then it just goes to a blank screen and says "Done" at the bottom. I attempted to attach a second different image that way and it failed. Obvoiusly, the code is either missing or incorrect when they migrated servers (or whatever the recent maintenance was).
