Cold temps, no start:
I'm not talking about slow cranking, or smoking. When it's just barely 'chilly' (mid 30's or colder...), the damn thing won't turn over. As in, nothing happens when you key up to start it. Dash lights up, glow plug indicator, etc, but no crank. Batteries, you say? Yeah, been there, done that. Replaced OE Motorcrafts with a pair of even bigger Everstart (800ccaX2)... Even when plugged in overnight, NO CRANK. I've warmed up the batteries using buckets of warm water, and eventually, it'll light up. Starts just fine once I can get it to turn over, but it's the turning over part that is being quite a nuisance. It doesn't do the slow, weak cranking. Once it finally turns over, it cranks full strength. It's all, or nothing. The block heater does just that - heats the block, but the batteries are at ambient temp. Is there some other starter relay/voltage threshold, weak link when cold?
Truck's too big to put in the garage, and replacing batts or plugging in hasn't made a diff...

There looks to be a plugin relay for the starter circuit but my screen isn't good enough to read all the details.
