stock bottom end, hp capability?
i just recently bought a 69 lincoln 460, i plan on doing a rebuild. my question is what kind of horsepower am i capable of if i get the bottom end rebuilt back to stock and do my performance upgrades up top? this is a budget build. motor is going in a 75 f100 long bed. thanks

My favorite thing about 460's and most Fords for that matter is the 2 bolt mains. They hold up longer than any 4 bolt Chevy and you can throw alot of power at them before they give. Alot! All those pea brained chevy goofs that can't get over that crack me up.
