I know they are supposed to be between .8 and 1.5 if they are anything over that are they bad or not? How i am looking at it right now is that I only have 3 good ones is that right ? Thanks

If I were you I would be replacing all 8 of those if you are sure you got good test numbers.

yea just replace them all. you have at least one bad or very weak one per side and the amount of work it takes to get to them it only makes sence to replace them all

I agree with the above. If any are bad i would change them all while you are doing it. I just did mine on tuesday the first time ever for me and it took about 3 hours taking my time. Also tenn, had recomended that i check the torque on the rocker studs and injectors while i was in there so i did that also. Just when you put it back together make sure you check your connections and that no wires are going to rub the moving parts.

Question about how you checked the resistances? Are you able to disconnect the plug going into the valve cover without removing the cover itself. I keep reading about the plug coming undone in the valve cover. Is there a plug on each side of the cover gasket and the one on the inside comes off sometimes? Thanks, figured I'd ask since you just did the checks.

yes... the valve cover gasket has an inner and outer plug, you can disconnect the outer plug and test the GP's and the injectors without taking the valve cover off

This may have already been discussed, but Autozone has the Motorcraft ZD11 plugs for $2.99 each. Find a store with them on the shelf; don't try to order online. Should save you about $80.
