A few fluid Q's
I'm going to be changing my tranny fluid and all other fluids. Wanting to know how much goes in and what kind too?
zf6=5.8 quarts of Mobil 1 Syn. ATF
transfer case=?????
front and rear diffs.=?????

Transfer case also uses ATF, you'll need 2 quarts. You just fill it until it's level with the bottom of the fill hole.
Front diff takes a 75W-90, 5.7 pints (get 3 quarts) also to the bottom of the fill hole.
Rear diff takes a full synthetic 75W-140, 6.9 pints (get 4 quars) and maybe some friction modifier from Ford.

I use full synthetic fluids in my truck, and my personal preference is Schaeffer's fluid, but it can be hard to find. Go here to see if there's a retailer in your area: http://www.schaefferoil.com/dealer_locator.html If there's not, it will give you an 800 number to their home office where you can call and find a rep who can get it for you.
