Speedometer

Good morning all. I have a 1978 F-150 4X4, last night I was trying to re-route some speaker wires and I took the dash cluster out. Today when I drove the truck the speedometer was going crazy and spinning around. What did I do to it, and suggestions?

Remove the speaker wires

Seriously... You need to inspect the speedo cable as it may have got slightly kinked.

When you put it back on the speedo head..did it slide on easily or a little difficult ?
